Staxxon folding shipping containers can be folded and bundled variably when empty in 2, 3, 4 or 5 container configurations. Bundled set is 100% intermixable with existing ISO standard containers. It can be moved, lifted and stacked with existing industry container moving equipment. Staxxon empty and laden containers are also 100% intermixable with existing ISO standard containers. Folding can be performed manually or with varying degrees of automation equipment.
20-ft, 40-ft and 40-ft HC to have identical exterior and interior dimensions to regular ISO standard containers. Payload weight capability to also match existing industry standards. Tare weight estimated to be 20-30% heavier than regular. Full CSC and AAR certifications for all container sizes and bundled sets expected prior to commercial launch using ISO standard testing metrics. Third party verification using ISO standard emission and cost savings data to be made available prior to commercial launch.
